I was pretty excited for greater Nashville to get our first Super Target. Admittedly, walking through the front doors for the first time was a little overwhelming. So, I did what most Target shoppers do; I grabbed a cart and took to the aisles in search of bargains and new items. Considering the size of the store, the layout is quite easy to deal with....groceries anchor your right, home goods in the middle, and clothing on the left. Naturally, I started with the clothing!!! Though it is still quite chilly here in Middle Tennessee, one could almost picture a warm summer day outside while browsing through racks and racks of swimsuits, shorts, and warm weather tops. GO International is currently featuring models turned designers Jovovich-Hawk. Their spring collection for Target shows many fun, flirty frocks that are perfect for dressing up, down, or downtown with an undeniably girly edge. After scouring through those racks and others including Isaac Mizrahi, Converse One Star, I headed for the shoes.
I love shoes...sandals, flip flops, stilettos, platforms...and Super Target has them all just in time to match all of the new spring and summer clothing that is hitting the racks! As we all know, I have more shoes than any human needs, so I quickly moved on to the real reason that I was so excited for my trip......DwellStudio for Target.
So, I read in Metropolitan Home a couple of months back that DwellStudio was designing a line for Target. This is perfect for me. I am a huge fan of Dwell bedding. However, I am also very fickle. So, I tried not to run as I headed for the bedding. Immediately, my eyes fell upon my new duvet cover. I love the Talon collection from DwellStudio. 
If you purchase the Talon Collection, you will spend $600-700 for a queen duvet cover, two shams, queen sheet set, and one accent pillow. I was thrilled to see that DwellStudio designed a collection for Target that is quite similar to the Talon Collection called the Baroque Collection. As compared to the $650 tag for Talon, the same items in the Baroque Collection are less than $160...just $79.99 for the duvet cover and shams. If you are like me - fickle and fashion forward, DwellStudio for Target is for you! Needless to say, I had a great time at Super Target and will definitely be heading back to check out more of the usual suspects. I am a big fan of the way that Target brings in big designers with economical prices. You can always find great pieces from Isaac Mizrahi, Converse One Star, Liz Lange Maternity, and many others.
